Scared Scriptless’ Begining Improv class (Level 1) is a six week course will lead you through the some of improvs basic concepts and help you begin to understand the core concepts and themes. Yes, AND, Agreement, help yourself by helping your scene partner, and more. This is a Begining Improv – level 1 class. Prerequisites include:
- interest in improv
- a sence of humor (optional)
- that’s it!
This class is serious. Serious about fun! There is an optional class performance on Friday April 18th at 8pm.
Location: Snow Goose (Basement) 717 W 3rd Ave (Downtown Anchorage)
Date: Every Friday for weeks March 7th through April 11th
Graduation performance (Optional) April 18th 8pm (on the Scared Scriptless Stage at Snow Goose)
These are the same ideas improvisers all over the world use – including those from Saturday Night Live, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Chicago’s Second City, LA’s The Groundlings, Theatersports and Comedysportz and Alaska’s longest running improv troupe, SCARED SCRIPTLESS!
Using discussion, exercises, and games, you will know what to do and how to do it when it comes to improvisation. Never feel out of place, without anything to say, or nervous about what to do next after you take this class. Let your mind go, and have some fun!
There is an optional Graduation performance with your classmates!!!
