About Middle Age Comeback
Middle Age Comeback is a fast-paced, high-energy, fully improvised one-act starring veteran performers Jimmy Carlson and Craig Uhlir. After a five-year run at iO Chicago, the duo took the show on the road, performing coast-to-coast at venues including UCB New York, OKC Improv, and stages across Michigan, Oklahoma, Alaska and Texas. With sharp instincts, decades of shared chemistry, and zero regard for their knees, Jimmy and Craig bring smart, stupid and fearless comedy every time they re-unite for a show.
Jimmy Carlson is an actor, writer, and director with over 30 years of improv experience. A longtime performer and resident director at The Second City Chicago, he toured internationally, directed multiple revues, and earned a Jeff Award nomination for Best Director. Jimmy appeared on The Affair (Showtime), How to Get Away with Murder (ABC), The Mentalist (CBS), and more. He now lives in Oklahoma City, where he performs regularly with The Swamp at OKC Improv. His directorial feature film debut, Drive Through Fire is currently being shopped for distribution worldwide.
Craig Uhlir is a veteran of The Second City National Touring Company and spent three years performing in The Second City: Las Vegas at the Flamingo, one of the Strip’s top 10 shows. He’s a longtime ensemble member of Deep Schwa, Chicago’s longest-running Harold team, now performing at the Annoyance Theater. Craig has taught improv internationally and appeared on Chicago Fire (NBC), Utopia (Amazon), and The Surreal Life All-Stars (VH1).
